When the South Of England Agricultural Society required to expand their facilities at The South Of England Centre with the addition of a new exhibition centre, Dix Belgravia were approached and invited to submit their design and cost proposals for this new venue. Following acceptance of these, Dix Belgravia Ltd. were awarded the contract on a Design and Build basis. The new exhibition hall was constructed around a steel frame with profiled metal roof and wall cladding. Internally, extensive accommodation for the convenience of visitors has been provided as well as staff facilities. Externally, the adjacent areas were hard and soft landscaped and a new access road and parking area formed. The project, started at the onset of winter was completed within 24 weeks. The building was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal and is now known as the Queen’s Jubilee Hall.
