In the summer of 2000, Dix Belgravia Limited secured the contract for the refurbishment of the Occupational Therapy Unit within the Royal Star & Garter Home. The works comprised the complete refurbishment and remodelling of the existing Occupational Therapy Unit to provide a modern facility to cater for the special needs of the residents. Working within a fully occupied residential home, close liaison with the staff was essential to maintain a completely safe environment throughout the contract period.

Following the successful completion of the works, Dix Belgravia Limited negotiated two further contracts; the provision of a mezzanine storage facility and the upgrade of wards toilets and bathrooms. All contracts were completed to a phased programme over a 2-year period, during which a close and productive working relationship evolved with both the Employer and Architect.
